Customer Service Module:

A prerequisite of this module is that you have previously installed the Retail Management System. This module will not work without it because it uses files built by this system. Once in place you will find that Handling Customer Complaints becomes much easier. While customer is on the phone, a customer complaint record is entered on to the computer with a cross reference to the contract containing the stock that was "defective". This Complaint record is printed in multiple parts with one part going to the service technician, another on for follow-up etc. The by-product of using this system is that you can generate reports showing where you are having your major problems and recover the costs from the manufacturers. (They really don't believe you when you tell them about problems until you put it in writing). These reports become a good guide as to what product lines to drop.
