General Ledger System:

Our General Ledger is standing in line for a re-write. It has been in use for a number of years and those clients who are currently using it find it is extremely fast at generating financial statements and easy to use to make entries etc. However, in its current form, can handle only one fiscal period at a time. It contains utilities that allow for fiscal end importation of data from Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable. This data is in summary form and only takes seconds to complete and does not generate miles of paper in the process. The only report generated is the actual general ledger posting entry and looks exactly the same as if the information was posted by hand.

Our financial statements are generated using a "financial statement specifications lay-out". This lay-out allows your statements to be generated in any form. They do not have to follow the chart of accounts sequence.
