Update Sales Report Breaks
When you choose option N from the Standard Utility Menu (1), you will be presented with this screen.
This utility is used strictly to control the subtotaling of some of your inventory SALES reports. In a future release, this utility will probably be moved to the Inventory Utilities Menu.
If you do not enter anything in this screen, then the reports that use this information will break on every product code. If you fill in this screen, then the reports will break only on the product codes entered here. The subtotal at this point will include all previous product code totals up to this point.
For example. If you sell cars, sub-compacts might be product code 80, mid-size would be product code 90, and full-size would be product code 100. With no entry on this screen, your inventory SALES report would break on each product code to give you subtotals for each type of car. If you insert product code 100 into this list, then the same report will break only at product code 100 with 80,90, and 100 all being sub-totalled together.
