Update City-Zone Cross Reference File
When you choose option #4 from the Utilities Menu (1), you will be presented with this screen.
You then must enter a City. Be sure that the spelling is correct, with no commas, apostrophes, etc in this name because this is the master record that all other routines use to verify a city when typed in by operators.
You then have two more fields to fill in namely
1. DELIVERY ZONE
This entry becomes the master control for other routines where delivery zones have to be entered. They are all verified against this one. However, if you are not using the dispatch routines, then this entry is not needed, but you must still put something in here to complete the data entry for this screen.
2. SALES AREA
This entry is the master control for other routines where a Sales area is either entered or for printing sales reports by various areas.
As a further explanation to the above 2 areas, you might consider the city of TORONTO to be one SALES AREA, but it might be broken down into several DELIVERY ZONES (NORTH, SOUTH, EAST WEST etc).
Once you have filled out all of the data, you screen should look like this.
