Church Master Menu

The Master Menu is the first screen that you will see when you log into the system.

There are really only 2 items here that most operators will be concerned with and that is choosing which sub menu to work with.  Since this program handles offerings, there is a secondary menu called the "Offerings Menu" which you get to by choosing item #1 on this menu.  There is also a secondary menu called "Membership Update Menu".  Because confidentiallity is needed, the Membership Menu only allows updating of a members record for such things as address change, childrens names, phone numbers etc.  The comparable screen in the Offerings Menu, allows this operator to add/edit an envelope number. 

The Membership Update Menu, also allows the operator to print a list of members with addresses, telephone numberst etc.

The Offerings Menu has an extended list of reporting regarding analysis of offerings etc.

Also, please notice item " V " on the menu, "Change user".  Since the users ID code is placed in a lot of records so that we might track who did what (if the need arrises), each individual must log in using his/her name and password.  However, with our system, the user must do the original logon to "CHURCH", and once the master menu comes up, then use "V. Change User" to log in as him/her self.  From this point on, the system will allow or disallow entry into certain programs if the System administrator has set up the security  (6. Set System Security).
