Update Member List

This routine allows operator to add/edit and sometimes delete a member.  This is the input screen where all pertinent non-confidential information is input and edited for a member.  The key into the file (member code) is a simple, easy to make code for the member that you are looking for.  If you enter a code and information appears, you know that this member is already on file.  If you enter a code and get a blank screen then you know that this code has never been used before, and that it is safe to use for this new member.

We suggest that the member code be made up of the first six characters of the members last name and the first 3 characters of the first name separated by a space.  If there are more than one member whose codes happen to be the same then add a number to the end .

Example:

Member is William J. Smith,     Code is SMITH WIL
Member is William S. Smith,    Code is SMITH WIL1
